Johnny O & the Jerks – Taking out the Trashabilly

Johnny O & the Jerks is significant as the first band of John Randall (the Hooten Hallers) and Kristo Baricevic (Big Muddy et al). Also featuring Brian Heffernan on bass (the Hobosexuals), Johnny O & the Jerks were known as a great live band that wasn’t afraid to veer off the tracks. These rockabilly-influenced recordings are an early snapshot of three 18-year olds making their way through music for the first time and include fun if not silly songs like “Fry My Brain (on Cellophane)” and “Mean Mean Miss Guillotine”. For fans of the Hooten Hallers and teenage hijinx.
