We are an independent record label, promoting authentic American music made by artists in St. Louis, MO.

Operating since 2005, Big Muddy Records can boast nearly a dozen releases from its motley gang of bands, many of whom have gone on to achieve national and international recognition. Whether it’s raw rock and roll, black and bluegrass, hobo blues, or dirty folk, the label aims to capture the unmatched grit and spirit of its hometown’s sound.

With a diverse roster and a history of rooftop soirees, impromptu barbeques, and park parties, Big Muddy Records has become a memorable fixture in the St. Louis music sphere, drawing fans of all ages, as well as accolades from several local publications.
