Big Muddy Records would like to welcome the Hooten Hallers to the family! Their CD, entitled “Greetings from Welp City,” will be out in February on Big Muddy. Check out their facebook page to find their tour dates as they carry the new CD around the country.

After accidentally deleting the entire website (woops!), Big Muddy Records is back online! It’s all pretty bare bones, but that’s just how we roll. Remember to support independent music every chance you get so that we don’t have to listen to vapid crap on the radio all the time. Speaking of records, our latest release, the 150 gram vinyl of Mean Scene by the Rum Drum Ramblers, is available now! You can get it online by visiting vintagevinyl.com and searching for the title, then placing an order (sorry it isn’t easier yet. we are still young and have much to learn.) It’s also available all over St. Louis and it makes a great Christmas present! If you get it at Vintage Vinyl, it comes with a free Vultures CD (that’s the band ryan and joey used to be in! look at the difference!)

Also comin’ up in Big Muddy’s future is a new full length record from Bob Reuter’s Alley Ghost, recorded in St. Louis by Mario Viele. More details to come!
